Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Zombie Shooter ("we", "us", the "Game") collects when you visit zshooter.com or play the Game, how that information is used, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Information you give us

Optional account. You can play without an account. If you create one, we store the username you choose and a password managed by Google Firebase Authentication. We never see or store your password in plain text. Usernames are not email addresses and we do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number or payment details.

Cloud saves. When you are logged in, your game profile (currencies, unlocked weapons and skins, campaign progress and settings) is stored in Google Cloud Firestore so it can follow you between devices.

Leaderboards. If you are logged in and finish an Endless Horde run, your username, class, waves survived, kills and run time may be posted to the public leaderboard, where anyone can see them.

Messages. If you contact us, we receive whatever you choose to send, such as your email address, GitHub username and message.

Information stored on your device

The Game stores your progress, settings and arcade high scores in your browser's local storage so you can keep playing without an account. You can delete this data at any time with Settings → Reset Data or by clearing your browser's site data.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), ads are shown only after you give consent through a consent message, and you can change your choice at any time.

Vercel Web Analytics. The site is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
